Recently graduated from Concordia University in Design for the Theater, I now specialize in costume and more specifically in the research of shapes and textures. I have always admired the abstract which, with a movement or a color for example, allows to transmit strong emotions or a feelings. I’m interested in the different ways a garment can modulate the body and transform it. I thus seek to create costumes which serve the practical and poetic needs of the theatrical universe.

I also specialize in eco-design. I’ve always experienced a certain duality vis-à-vis Art. For me, theater is such a noble art through which one can transmit powerful emotions and messages. Theater is a tool for change. Yet each production produces a frightening amount of waste. How do you make something beautiful and strong when you know it destroys the planet? For me, that makes theater lose all its meaning. This is why I am now focusing on finding alternatives for costume design. Not only do I want to be able to produce an eco-friendly wardrobe, but I also want to give my designer colleagues resources and make eco-costume accessible.
